Calling Scratchpad user survey into Virtual Networks in Taxonomy - CLOSED

Call to enthusiastic and disappointed Scratchpad users to participate in a survey into Virtual Networks in Taxonomy.

 

During the last 2.5 years you have considered using a Scratchpad, you registered and been using it since, or perhaps you tried one and decided it did not meet your needs? In all cases we are interested to hear your opinion on the Scratchpads in particular and virtual research tools for natural history research in general.

 

Can you spare 20 minutes between August 24th and October 1st to provide your views on the Scratchpads and related virtual research tools? EDIT and the Scratchpad team are conducting short telephone surveys that will directly influence development priorities for the Scratchpads and we need your help to understand:

  • The role of the Scratchpads and related virtual research tools supporting scholarly communication in natural history science.
  • User priorities that will inform development of the functionality, user interface and user friendliness of the Scratchpad sites

The interview will offer you an opportunity to tell EDIT and the Scratchpad team what works, what doesn’t, and what you would like to see as part of the sites. Don’t be afraid to be critical. We are especially keen to hear from users that gave up with their sites, or are infrequent visitors. The survey will take the form of a 20-minute telephone interview, which you can book yourself from the electronic calendar.
